We apply the Displacement Framework to addiction and substance use disorder, formalizing addiction as progressive wrong attractor deepening in the reward landscape. Eight formal propositions are derived covering: monotone wrong attractor deepening (each use cycle deepens the attractor basin W_substance), tolerance as basin floor descent (larger doses needed as the basin deepens), withdrawal as ground state redefinition (the attempt to return to S0 produces opposite displacement because the ground state has been redefined), craving as inter-attractor gradient (the gradient of Phi pointing toward W_substance when the system is between attractors), relapse hysteresis theorem (re-entry into W_substance is easier than initial entry because the landscape retains memory), medication-assisted treatment as partial-agonist landscape modification (buprenorphine/methadone raise the basin floor without full return), recovery as landscape reconstruction rather than return, and behavioral addiction topological equivalence (gambling, pornography, social media deepen the same basal ganglia attractor space).
