Bullying is defined clinically as repeated, intentional harm delivered under conditions of power imbalance (Olweus, 1993). We propose a displacement-theoretic account that unifies its four primary forms --- physical, verbal, relational, and cyber --- under a single structural description. The bully is a social displacement forcing agent: the target accumulates social displacement cost () not by chance but by deliberate, repeated forcing away from the social ground state ().
This constitutes the glitch structure (G) of the displacement framework: the bully's social gain is produced by displacement cost externalized onto the target. We analyze allostatic shift in chronic bullying, apply DC5 (irreversibility) to the empirical literature on long-term outcomes, extend the analysis to bystanders and institutions as displaced systems, and connect cyberbullying's structural severity to its foreclosure of temporal recovery windows.
Bullying is not merely harmful behavior --- it is the clearest human example of deliberate, repeated G: one node's improvement sustained by another node's accumulated $$.
