Compulsive protein-optimization—the behavioral pattern of relentless macro-tracking, protein-target anxiety, and the subordination of appetite to numerical quotas—is analyzed as a wrong attractor W_prot within the displacement framework. Starting from the ground state S^0, defined as calibrated, present, unforced engagement with somatic signals, we show that macro-tracking constitutes a stable self-reinforcing basin that forecloses the very signals it purports to optimize: hunger, satiety, embodied nutritional intuition, and trust in the body's own computation.
