Entitlement as Reciprocity-Exemption Wrong Attractor: The Asymmetric Obligation Architecture and the Return to Mutual Accountability

Rincón, D. · 2026 · Zenodo · reciprocity-exemption wrong attractor

This is the record, not the paper. The work itself is the deposit on Zenodo, under the DOI below. What follows is its abstract, as deposited.

This paper applies the Displacement Framework to entitlement, analysing it as a wrong-attractor state in which the subject operates with asymmetric obligation: claims and expectations are maximised while reciprocal obligations are minimised or exempted. Using displacement cost D(ξ), accumulated displacement Φ, and basin geometry, we show how frustration when entitlement is not met generates grievance accumulation that deepens the basin.

Nine propositions formalise the asymmetric obligation structure, frustration-grievance loop, narcissistic entitlement as special case, cultural amplifiers, and return paths through accountability and perspective-taking. Published as part of The Phronesis Issues preprint series.
