Gaming Disorder (GD), formalized in ICD-11 (2022), is a behavioral addiction in which the gaming environment becomes the primary wrong attractor W_gaming capturing motivational, temporal, and identity resources. We apply the Displacement Framework to formalize GD and introduce the concept of landscape engineering: game design as deliberate construction of a wrong-attractor basin optimized to maximize residence time and minimize return-path accessibility.
