We apply the Displacement Framework to grief, defining S0_attachment as the relational configuration that includes the lost person, place, or future. Loss is ground state annihilation — not displacement from S0 but destruction of it. Acute grief is displacement without destination. The Kubler-Ross stages are recast as attractor-landscape features. Complicated grief is wrong-attractor lock-in.
Disenfranchised grief is displacement without social return path. Ambiguous loss inhibits new S0 construction. The clinical implication replaces closure with carrying forward: constructing a new ground state that acknowledges permanent change.
