Racism as Structural Ground State Violation: Racial Hierarchy as Imposed Displacement, Chronic Minority Stress as Φ Accumulation, and the Geometry of Systemic Harm

Rincón, D. · 2026 · Zenodo · structural ground state violation

This is the record, not the paper. The work itself is the deposit on Zenodo, under the DOI below. What follows is its abstract, as deposited.

We apply the Displacement Framework to racism as a form of structural displacement, formalizing the human dignity ground state S°_dignity and racial hierarchy as an externally imposed displacement D(ξ_race) — categorically distinct from internal wrong attractors because the individual does not enter it through any internal failure but is placed there by structural forces outside their body.

Ten formal propositions are derived covering: the external imposition asymmetry (standard individual return paths cannot exit externally-maintained displacement), Φ_race accumulation as the formalization of Meyer's minority stress model (everyday discrimination, vigilance, internalized racism as continuous D(ξ_race) generators), institutional localization of W_racism in hiring/lending/policing/healthcare/education rather than individual minds, the corollary that attitude change alone is structurally insufficient to exit an institutional wrong attractor, microaggression compounding (high-frequency low-amplitude displacement whose integral is the mechanism), the Weathering Hypothesis (Geronimus) formalized as AL(T) = κ·Φ_race(T) — allostatic load as Φ_race made somatic, health disparity prediction from first principles, resilience as category error (manages cost but cannot reduce externally-maintained source), racial capitalism as displacement transfer mechanism, and the rate law for structural return requiring institutional landscape deformation.
