We apply the Displacement Framework to soil ecology, formalizing healthy soil as a biological ground state S0_soil defined by microbial diversity, organic matter content, mycorrhizal network integrity, and aggregate stability. Industrial agriculture is modeled as systematic wrong-attractor capture: a stable degraded configuration from which return costs exceed entry costs by orders of magnitude.
We derive formal propositions on basin depth, mycorrhizal destruction and return cost, and compounding displacement under annual tillage. The mycorrhizal network is identified as the return infrastructure whose depletion closes the fast recovery path.
