The garden.
Every page on this site stands on ground, and this is the ground. Sow it with a different seed and the whole site is replanted — the soil, the stones, the roots, what grows on the surface, and the hedgerow along every section rule.
Nothing here is random. A seed is a number, and the same number always grows the same garden — which is why the one in the repo can be trusted to build the same site twice.
Night is #0a0a0c — the black centre of the mark, the ground state. The ocean is connect, transform and integrate; the sky above it is the same black the mark has always had at its middle. Nothing on this page is a colour the mark does not already own.

This paints the site for you, not for the world. The seed is kept in this browser, so a visitor on another machine still gets the garden planted in the repo. To change it for everyone, put the number in gen-garden-edge.ts and rebuild — the same seed grows the same garden there as it does here.
The tiles and the rules they follow are written up in the gallery. One creature per page anywhere else on this site — this page is the exception, the way a seed catalogue is allowed to be full of seeds.
