The free check is complete and runs offline, and it can only ever see the process it is inside. Two agents on two machines drifting the same way at the same time is invisible from either one of them.
This is not a better detector. It is the same detector with somewhere to report to — which is the only thing that turns several separate readings into one picture.
what it allows
Going over returns 429 with the reset time — a hard stop, not an overage. No invoice you did not expect. Ask for more and it is a config change.
what it adds

It does not detect anything Ground does not. Same grammar, same Φ, same nine verdicts, and the free SDK keeps your local sessions forever whether you pay or not. If one machine is all you run, this buys you nothing and you should not buy it.
