Green algae under fibre exit is both a live layer and a biomass chemical store. Charge is growth (OD / dry mass) with lux_exit co-logged. Discharge is a named path with mass or volume out — not silent “free watts.”

- Filter or settle culture; dry to constant weight at documented temperature
- Weigh dry mass; write biomass_gain_g and discharge_g in summary
- Optional: ash / CHN later — not required for first pass
