design time, in four sizes. you bring the problem; you buy a bounded amount of the studio’s attention pointed at it. same method every time — we design anything — only the amount changes.
the hours are a size, not a timesheet. nothing here bills by the hour or asks you to count them — the band just tells you roughly how much of the studio a job takes, so you can find yours before we ever speak.
a look and a fix. one screen, one flow, one mark, one page of copy — something specific that is close and not right yet. you get the change, not a document about the change.
a real piece of work. a surface designed properly, an identity built out from the four, a product area reworked end to end. enough room to find the actual problem before solving it.
something carried the whole way through. design, decisions, and the parts nobody scoped — the work where the shape changes halfway and the change is the point.
an engagement rather than a job — carried month to month instead of quoted once, because past a certain size a fixed number is a guess about work neither of us has seen yet. you get a standing amount of the studio, and the context carries between months instead of being rebuilt each time.
why ranges and not one number. the same twenty-four hours can be a clean rebuild or the hardest problem of the year. a flat fee has to guess which, and it is wrong in one direction or the other. so the band is honest about what is unknown, and where inside it you land is something we agree before anything starts — never after.
extended is monthly, and introductory. it is the one tier not priced by the job, because past a certain size a single number is a guess about work neither of us has seen. $4,000 a month is the introductory rate, and it is what you would be quoted today.
